Watch PLF’s Timothy Sandefur on the McDonald case and economic liberty
Last week the U.S. Supreme Court heard the important Second
Amendment case, McDonald v. Chicago.
PLF and the Cato Institute submitted an amicus brief
arguing
that the Court should strengthen enforcement for all constitutional liberties against abuses by local and state governments—protections
for gunowners’ rights to be sure, but also for economic
freedoms, rights of entrepreneurs to build businesses, and
the fundamental right to earn a living.
On the eve of oral argument, C-SPAN TV broadcast the author
of that brief, PLF Principal Attorney Timothy Sandefur, along
with other legal scholars, at a Cato policy forum on the McDonald case.
Watch the broadcast here:

PLF is able to fight for free enterprise, limited government,
and property rights, from county courts all the way up to
the U.S. Supreme Court, because of the patriotic generosity
of our supporters. WE ARE GRATEFUL for all donations that
allow us to keep helping victims of abusive government, and
to keep “rescuing liberty” from coast to coast!
